And do not kill your children

Sahih International
And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.

Sahih International
Those will have lost who killed their children in foolishness without knowledge and prohibited what Allah had provided for them, inventing untruth about Allah . They have gone astray and were not [rightly] guided.
Tamil NEW
- Qur'an 6:140 திருக்குர்ஆன்6:140

The use of the Internet to propagate Islam - I

In the beginning of the year 1969 CE, in the state of California, people were able to transfer data between two personal computers which were few metres apart via a telephone line, and this was the first such connection to be established anywhere.
Before this incident, such a link was only a concept which was to be implemented in the computer laboratories of the United States Department of Defence as part of their Star Wars program. The aim was to have a network fit for military use.
The number of people who connected to this initial network increased rapidly and developed at a very rapid rate, such that the number has reached more than billion people today, who are connected through millions of personal computers globally, and this, in the opinion of many, was the most important invention of the twentieth century. Allaah Says (what means): “[Allaah] Taught man that which he knew not.” [Quran 68: 5]
Allaah has made mankind a successive authority upon the earth, wherein man lives and worships Allaah; He has granted man great ability of mind and has created for him upon the earth things which he can invest in and utilize in the obedience of Allaah; so glad tidings for the one who utilizes the earth's resources in the obedience of Allaah and woe to those who utilize them in His disobedience.
One cannot help but be surprised when he witnesses the development of the Internet in light of the Hadeeth of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) which was narrated by Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him in the book of Imaam Ahmad and others may Allaah have mercy upon them; he sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “The Hour will not come until trials appear in large numbers, lying becomes widespread, markets converge and time shortens.” In another narration, he sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “Until time shortens and Harj increases.” So a companion of his asked: “What is Harj?” and he sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) replied: “Countless killing.”

Black Seed (Nigella sativa): A cure for every disease

Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with himnarrated that the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )said:  Use this Black Seed regularly, because it is a cure for every disease, except death.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

What is the Black Seed?

Its botanical name is Nigella sativa. It is believed to be indigenous to the Mediterranean region but has been cultivated into other parts of the world including the Arabian peninsula, northern Africa and parts of Asia.
The Black seeds originate from the common fennel flower plant (Nigella sativa) of the buttercup (Ranunculaceae) family. It is sometimes mistakenly confused with the fennel herb plant (Foeniculum vulgare).

The plant has finely divided foliage and pale bluish purple or white flowers. The stalk of the plant reaches a height of twelve to eighteen inches as its fruit, the black seed, matures.
The Black Seed forms a fruit capsule which consists of many white trigonal seeds. Once the fruit capsule has matured, it opens up and the seeds contained within are exposed to the air, becoming black in color.
The Black seeds are small black grains with a rough surface and an oily white interior, similar to onion seeds. The seeds have little bouquet, though when rubbed, their aroma resembles oregano. They have a slightly bitter, peppery flavor and a crunchy texture.
The Black Seed is also known by other names, varying between places. Some call it black caraway, others call it black cumin, onion seeds or even coriander seeds. The plant has no relation to the common kitchen herb, cumin.
Muslims’ use of the Black Seed:
Muslims have been using and promoting the use of the Black Seed for hundreds of years, and hundreds of articles have been written about it. The Black Seed has also been in use worldwide for over 3000 years. It is not only a prophetic herb, but it also holds a unique place in the medicine of the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )
It is unique in that it was not used profusely before the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )made its use popular. Although there were more than 400 herbs in use before the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )and recorded in the herbals of Galen and Hippocrates, the Black Seed was not one of the most popular remedies of the time. Because of the way Islam has spread, the usage and popularity of the Black Seed is widely known as a "remedy of the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention )." In fact, a large part of this herbal preparation's popularity is based on the teachings of the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ).
The Black Seed has become very popular in recent years and is marketed and sold by many Muslim and non-Muslim businesses.

Our Incredible Regenerating Body

Allah, the Exalted says in the Qur'an:

وَفِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

And within your own bodies, will you not look (and reflect) (51:21)
The human body is a remarkable machine - every minute of every day our cells are in a constant state of change, building a new body, repairing it and regenerating it. Each tissue has its own renewal time, depending on how much that particular organ or area is used by us each day. By breaking the body down into different areas, this article explains the amazing phenomenon of our continually regenerating body.
The skeleton
The human skeleton is made up of 206 bones. Study has shown that each bone's shape is perfectly adapted to its function within the body.
A skeleton will completely renew itself about every ten years. This obviously doesn't happen all in one go, but over our lifetime, this process ensures optimum protection of our internal organs.
The heart
The heart is an extraordinarily reliable muscular pump, pumping around 6 liters of blood around the body every minute.

Type of food and the emotional status

It was finally clarified that the type of food affects the emotional status of the human being and some processed types may cause diseases.
In the modern era, the scientists start to invent new techniques of food processing, and the food styles the people follow had changed. The scientists had not realized that such new styles would harm people as the percentage of physical and psychological diseases had increased because of processed foods.
But if we revert to the Holy Quran, we will find the divine order for people to eat the lawful foods which Allah, the Almighty Had created for them. He says: "O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that we have provided you with, and be grateful to Allâh, if it is indeed He Whom you worship" (172: Al Baqara). Therefore, the scientists confirm that the best type of food is what we find ready in the nature before the human hand poison it!
A study, conducted by a research team at College London, had concluded the possibility of having relationship between depression and consumption of processed foods as people who consume larger amounts of vegetables, fruits and fish are less exposed to depression.
The team who conducted the research says that this is the first time the relationship between depression and diet is being watched in Britain. The data of the diet of 3500 persons at the middle age were studied and then compared with the cases of depression after five years as published in the British Journal of Psychiatry. The people participated in the study were classified into two groups: first group's diet depends on vegetables, fruits and fish, and the second group's diet depends on processed and fatty foods.

Do not eat processed and junk foods! This is the newest advice given to you by the Nutritionists. Studies verified that canned meat products and foods containing preservatives and ready to eat meals (like Hamburgers, etc) have harmful effects on the person's emotional status, so if you want to enjoy emotional stability and quietness, have physical health and live longer you have to stay away from these foods.

1400 year old Cheraman Juma Masjid

1400 year old Cheraman Juma Masjid

A group of Muslim travelers led by a companion of the Prophet, Malik Bin Dinar (not to be confused with the famous scholar of the same name) came to Kerala and according to the wishes of Cheraman Perumal, established this and other mosques in Kerala and also instructed people in Islamic practices. These mosques survived and continue to be functional mosques where regular prayers and educational functions are conducted even to this day.
1400 year old Cheraman Jum
It started at the time the last of the Cheras ruled Kerala – a time when a lot of trade transpired between the south Indian Kingdoms and the West. A time when small ships plied between the ports of Muziris and the ports in Arabia, a time when pepper-the black gold, other spices, precious stones, muslin cloth, teak wood for houses and boats and the fine dyes from the Malabar moved on these ships to Arab ports, Egypt and ancient Europe in return for gold, pearls.

Sometime between 620-850 AD - A Cheran King while wandering (ulathifying) on his balcony with his queen saw the moon being split into two and later being rejoined.

He was mystified and consulted his astrologers who apparently confirmed the occurrence of such an event.
