Marriage in Islam

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) Said,
"O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty, and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his desires.'"
[Bukhari]

"Among His signs is [the fact] that He has created spouses for you among yourselves so that you may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has planted love and mercy between you; In that are signs for people who reflect"
Qur'an [30: 21]

Reported by Anas ibn Malik, the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) Said,
"When Allah grants someone a good wife, then He has helped him with one half of his Deen, Let him fear Allah in attending to the other half."
[Related by Al-Tabarni and Al-Hakim]

Prophet SAW said
"The best of you are the best to their wives, and I am the best of you with my wives"
[Ibn Hibban]

Prophet SAW Said:
''The World and all things in it are Precious, and the Most precious thing in this World is a Virtuous Women"
[Ahmad and Muslim]



When a husband is happy at home then one person is happy BUT when a wife is happy at home then the whole house is happy

The Mahr (Dowry): Allah says (what means): "And give to the women their dowry with a good heart, but if they out of their own good pleasure remit any part of it to you, take it and enjoy it without fear of any harm. "
(Al-Nisa 4:4)
The mahr can be of any amount, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi was sallam) said, "Look for one even if it was an iron ring"
(Bukhari and Muslim)
