Forgive Me Allah (Heart Touching)

 Here I am, this is me,
Just a weak, really weak
Human being,
In front of you my beloved,
I am here,
With a heart bleeding, with tears dropping,
With a body shivering, with pain exploding,
Asking you for forgiveness and mercy,
Oh Allah,
Sometimes my life may be corrupted and rough,
Sometimes my tests and journeys get so tough,
But for the sake of you,
It will never be enough!
What have I done to come closer to you Allah?
All what I have done is worth nothing!
And when I give up just a small thing for your sake,
You give me something better in its place!
But, what can I do?
In front of you, oh Allah,
Shouldn’t I have shame?
Shouldn’t I keep putting on myself blame?
I look at all the things you gave me,
And it’s sad to say,

I have a dream

What made me write this post is a dream that I saw 8 months ago. I had a dream that one of Native Deen (Islamic Nasheeds band) members was speaking in a conference sitting on a table on which there were some glasses. And he spoke of setting dreams and he said something that goes along the lines of:

“When you think about achieving your goals don’t have a negative image that no one will benefit from… ,your job or business or that you will end up with just a normal job or business.  Set your mind that you will have the best job and the best business, and people will extremely benefit from it.”
 
Now how to define your goal? I heard so much about goal setting and how to define it. Now so many schools of thought teach that your goal must be realistic. To me, I say never be realistic, realistic dreams do not move, realistic dreams do not motivate, realistic dreams DO NOT IGNITE the flame of passion that will keep you running with excitement until the end of life. Realistic dreams will set you for mediocrity. To me if a dream is not wild I don’t feel the smallest amount of excitement to get up from my chair to do it. If a dream is not wild I’d rather sit on my couch and eat potato all day.

Don't Be Sad and Think About Delights

Wealth, appearance, children, house, and talents — you must be content with your share in these things:
{So hold that which I have given you and be of the grateful.}
(Qur’an 7:144)

In fact, every Prophet was at one time or another a shepherd. Dawood (David) was a blacksmith, Zakariah (Zacharia) a carpenter, and Idrees (Enoch) a tailor; and yet they were the best of mankind.
Therefore your value is in your abilities, good deeds, manners, and contributions to society. Do not feel grief, then, over that which has passed you by in life in terms of good looks, wealth, or family; and be content with what Allah has allotted for you.
{It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this World.} (Qur’an 43. 32)

Remind yourself of Paradise, which is as wide as are the Heavens and the Earth.
O’ you who live in poverty, or are afflicted with calamity, work righteous deeds so that you shall live in Allah’s Paradise.
{Peace be upon you, because you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!} (Qur’an 13: 24)
“Verily you are returning towards your Lord – with your deeds and actions [good or bad], a sure returning…” (Chapter 84, Verse 6)

Concentrate on the present, living each day as it comes.
Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said:

قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ: لَأَطُوفَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ عَلَى سَبْعِينَ امْرَأَةً وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: تِسْعِينَ امْرَأَةً، وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: مِائَةِ امْرَأَةٍ تَلِدُ كُلُّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ غُلَامًا يُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ قَالَ لَهُ الْمَلَكُ: قُلْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ، فَلَمْ يَقُلْ، فَطَافَ بِهِنَّ فَلَمْ تَلِدْ مِنْهُنَّ إِلَّا امْرَأَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ نِصْفَ إِنْسَانٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِصلى الله عليه وسلّم: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَوْ قَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ لَمْ يَحْنَثْ، وَكَانَ دَرَكًا لِحَاجَتِه»وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «وَلَقَاتَلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فُرْسَانًا أَجْمَعُون»

“No calamity befalls the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the Book of Decrees – before we bring it into existence” (Chapter 57, Verse 22)
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (Chapter 13, Verse 28)

Allah (swt) promises never to burden us with more than we can bear, and

“Verily, with hardship, there is relief” (Chapter 94, Verse 6)

HUSBAND AND WIFE RELATIONSHIP – WHY THEY END UP IN DIVORCE?

Marriage is a contract that binds a man known as a husband and a woman known as a wife. There is a set of responsibilities each imposed on both sides. As long as these responsibilities are fulfilled by husband and wife, the marriage will be orderly and intact. So as to be able to fulfill their respective responsibilities, husband and wife must have ‘iman’. Without ‘iman’ a person will not be able to fulfill the responsibilities as a wife and husband and the marriage contract will end in divorce. They end up in divorce because they want to solve their problems. In reality, divorce does not solve problems because the core of the problems arises from the fact that both sides do not want to obey the orders of Allah. As long as both sides continue to disobey the orders of Allah, even after they are divorced, they will continue to have problems. Many couples end up in divorces but after the divorce they end up in more problems. Divorce does not solve their problems, but divorce will lead them to more problems when they continue to disobey the orders of Allah. Whenever we disobey the orders of Allah, we will have problems and the more we disobey the orders of Allah, the more problems we will have. If we do not want problems, we should obey the orders of Allah. But why do people disobey the orders of Allah? People disobey the orders of Allah because they do not have the greatness of Allah in their heart and in their mind. Why do we not have the greatness of Allah in our mind and heart? It is because the greatness of Allah is not in our daily speeches. What we have in our heart and mind is the greatness of this world as the talk of the greatness of this world is always in our speeches. We will only obey the orders of Allah if we can foresee some worldly benefits. When we have marital problems, we should not think that only divorce can solve them. Divorce does not solve our problems at all and we should not even consider that option. Our marriage problems will only be solved by Allah and Allah will solve our problems when both of us turn to the obedience of the orders of Allah. In order to obey the orders of Allah both sides needs ‘iman’.

Allah is most Merciful and Forgiving

The Qur’an says several times that Allah is the most Merciful. In fact all the 114 Surahs i.e. chapters of the Glorious Qur’an except for Surah Taubah chapter 9, begin with the beautiful formula, Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Rahim, which means, “In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful”.
