Prophet Muhammad (PBUH}

(
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. And We did not make the qiblah which you used to face except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger from who would turn back on his heels. And indeed, it is difficult except for those whom Allah has guided. And never would Allah have caused you to lose your faith. Indeed Allah is, to the people, Kind and Merciful.

- Quran 2::143

BE KIND TO YOUR FAMILY

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise (i.e., no one enters paradise only through his good deeds)." The Prophet's companions asked: "Not even you?" The Prophet replied: "Not even myself, unless God bestows his favor and mercy on me. So be moderate in your religious deeds and do what is within your ability. None of you should wish for death, for if he is a doer of good, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to God." - Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Hadith 577

MODESTY

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Every faith has an innate character. The character of Islam is modesty." - Al-Muwatta, Volume 47, Hadith 9

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, God will cause him to travel on one of the roads of Paradise." - Sunan of Abu Dawood, Hadith 1631
A man once asked the Prophet to pray for him because he was about to embark on a journey. The Prophet replied: "May God grant you the provision of righteousness. . .and may He make it easy for you to do virtuous deeds, wherever you may be." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 235

SEEK KNOWLEDGE

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Someone who sets forth in search of knowledge is busy in the cause of God until he returns from his quest." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 420

Hadith on Treatment of Neighbours

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "By God, he does not believe! By God, he does not believe! By God, he does not believe!" When asked who he was referring to, the Prophet replied: "That person whose neighbor does not feel safe from his evil." - Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Hadith 45
