Hayat Sindi, PhDVisiting Scholar, Harvard UniversityCo-Founder, Director and Chair of International Science and Business Affairs Currently a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University, with Professor George Whitesides at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Dr. Sindi’s primary objective and focus is to develop and deploy technology to developing areas of the world to improve healthcare.Dr. Sindi is a member of British Top Young Researcher at House of Commons. She was awarded the Young Professional Award by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Arab Student Organization (MIT-ASO). Dr. Sindi earned her Ph.D from Cambridge University, where she was appointed as Senior Lecturer at the International school of Medicine, specializing in Pre-Clinical Education and Public Affairs of Cambridge Overseas Medical Programme. Engineer AbduldaemAl-Kaheel is a researcher in the Scientific Miracles of the Quran and Sunnah. He is born in the city of Homs (Syria) in 1966. He is married and has two children, "Firas" and "Alaa".
TIME has named Malalai Joya to the 2010 TIME 100, the magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Joya has become renown around the world as a courageous advocate of women’s rights and a fierce critic of the NATO war in Afghanistan. When I first heard this news, I thought it might be an indication that the editors of TIME were open to spreading a dissident's message about the increasingly unpopular war in Afghanistan. Alas, the write-up by Ayaan Hirshi Ali about Joya disabused me of this optimistic notion. Instead of describing Joya's reasons for opposing the NATO occupation of Afghanistan, Hirshi Ali, the author of Infidel who now works for the neoconservative American Enterprise Institute, admonishes Joya: "Malalai, 31, is a leader. I hope in time she comes to see the U.S. and NATO forces in her country as her allies. She must use her notoriety, her demonstrated wit and her resilience to get the troops on her side instead of out of her country. The road to freedom is long and arduous and needs every hand."
Also in the show, Malalai Joya, a young female Afghan MP, who has survived several assassination attempts, talks about why she wants NATO troops to leave Afghanistan.
Professor Tariq Ramadan holds MA in Philosophy and French literature and PhD in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Geneva. In Cairo, Egypt he received one-on-one intensive training in classic Islamic scholarship from Al-Azhar University scholars. Tariq Ramadan has resigned from the post of Professor of Islamic Studies at Notre Dame University (Classic Department) and Luce Professor at the Kroc Institute (Religion Conflict and Peacebuilding). In October 2007, he was offered a Professorial Chair in Islamic Sudies at the University of Leiden. He decided to turn down the offer. Tariq Ramadan is Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University (Oriental Institute, St Antony’s College ). He is also teaching at the Faculty of Theology at Oxford. He is at the same time Senior Research Fellow at Doshisha University (Kyoto, Japan).
Through his writings and lectures he has contributed substantially to the debate on the issues of Muslims in the West and Islamic revival in the Muslim world. He is active both at the academic and grassroots levels lecturing extensively throughout the world on social justice and dialogue between civilizations. Malcolm X (born Malcolm Little) on May 19th, 1925 in Omaha Nebraska. He was to become a controversial African-American Muslim minister, public speaker, and human rights activist.To many, he was a courageous advocate for the human rights of African Americans, a man who portrayed white America in the harshest light for its crimes against black Americans. Whilst to his detractors he was preaching racism, black supremacy, and violence. For many he will enter the annals of American history as one of the greatest and most influential African Americans.

My mother was born and brought up in Hyderabad. She was a strong and beautiful woman. She resemble Waheeda Rehman. My father also was extremely handsome. I don’t think I’m good-looking but they were a very good-looking couple. The met incidentally under strange circumstances. Injured in a car accident, my mother needed blood. My father who happened to be at the hospital at that time gave her blood. In this process of helping my mother to revive, they fell in love. And though my father was about eleven years older than my mother, her family consented because he had sort of saved the family. In bringing up my sister Shehnaz and me, my parents never made any difference, though I think my sister was closed to my parents because she is six years older to me. I was born at a time when my parents weren’t doing well financially. But I don’t remember facing any hardship on that account. My father was a chief engineer. My mother was a social worker, a first class magistrate. She had studied in Oxford. She was among the first few Muslim women to have achieved so much. She has been an executive magistrate for the longest tenure recorded. She used to deal with juvenile delinquents. I was not a stubborn kid.
